TOO MANY APPS!!
ARG!
which one?…

well….

TWO ESSENTIAL AND FREE APPS
Metronome – MetroTimer
Tuner – Instuner

TWO MORE FREE APPS
Rhythm Cat will teach you how to read rhythm notation and…
Noteworks teaches you the notes on the musical stave.

The following apps you have to pay for, but COME ON! They are WELL worth it.

I can never overstate how incredibly useful and fun iReal Pro is. I use it for jamming, writing out charts, scale and arpeggio practice and singing along to.

I’ve just purchased this music training kit which includes an ear trainer (you GOTTA train those suckers) and a note trainer. The note trainer asks you to sight read and YOU CAN DO THIS WITH YOUR GUITAR! That’s so cool!

If you can think of any apps which I should include here, please comment!

Hello, I was just wondering how much you charge for guitar lessons. I’ve got idea of the theory of playing guitar but I seem to struggle to put it all together so I’m just after a bumper start to see where I can get to. I’m 32 and I’ve had a guitar for 14 years…

    Thanks.
